Treatment for testicular pain:
The treatment for testicular pain depends on its causes. For example, if it is caused by infections, doctor will prescribe antibiotics. It’s the most commonly-used treatment for infections. Doctor may also prescribe painkillers such as paracetamol or a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication to relieve the pain.
If the symptoms keep on and off, or the infection develops chronic, doctors will prescribe long-term antibiotics. However, if antibiotics develops drug resistance, it will be ineffective in treating the infection. Under this situation, patients should be given a strong antibiotic or try a different medication like herbal medicine called Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill. This pill is made from purely natural herbs with no side effects. Though it needs some time for the herbs to work on the infections, its therapeutic effect is better than antibiotics in a long-term treatment.
Home treatments for testicular pain:
To have a better recovery, patients can take some home treatments:
• Have best rest for 3 to 4 days
• Place a rolled towel under the scrotum while lying down
• Apply ice to the scrotum.
• Wear an athletic supporter.
• Avoid lifting heavy objects or performing strenuous activity.
