The incidence of chronic prostatitis is high, and its pathogenesis and etiology are not clear. Because of the unsatisfactory therapeutic effect of drugs alone, sports adjuvant therapy accompanied by drug treatment is necessary. It is also increasingly practiced and studied by some doctors and experts and scholars.

Sports can promote blood circulation, treat and massage the prostate, and enhance the effect of natural medicine Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill and other therapeutic drugs.

A recent study of 47,620 men, conducted by American scientists for 14 years, shows that active participation in physical exercise can help slow the spread of prostate cancer cells. Participants participated in sports, including walking, running, swimming, tennis, cycling, and gymnastics. The study also found that men over 65 years of age, who frequently participate in sports, are about 70% less likely to develop prostate cancer than the general population.

"Men over 65 years of age are significantly less likely to develop advanced prostate cancer if they exercise more than three hours a week," the study said. So, for prostatitis patients, how should they exercise to receive good results?

1. Walking
Fast walking can make the hip and pelvis pull regularly so that the prostate and its surrounding organs can be pulled, play a role in accelerating blood circulation and pressing pull. Patients should take fast walking 3 km, 30 minutes a day, and exercise at least four days a week. Walking does not require full load, as long as the intensity of exercise reaches 60 to 70%, it can play an auxiliary therapeutic role.

2. Jogging
Jogging is the best way to maintain the prostate. When running, the pelvic floor muscles relax regularly and rhythmically, which can make the blood of the prostate and its surrounding organs and tissues live.

3. Swimming
When swimming, patients with chronic prostatitis can relax the muscles around the prostate. Abdominal muscle traction can promote systemic blood circulation and lymphatic circulation, massage the prostate and its surrounding organs and accelerate blood supply.

4. Yoga
As a new way of exercise, yoga can play a very good role in the treatment of prostatic diseases, especially in alleviating prostatitis caused by mental stress, such as chronic abacterial prostatitis and asymptomatic prostatitis.

5. Taijiquan
For patients with prostatitis, traditional health exercises, such as Taijiquan, can relax the muscles of the whole body and reduce the tension of blood vessels. According to traditional Chinese medicine, Taijiquan has the functions of tonifying kidney essence, strengthening muscles and bones, and resisting diseases. When playing Taijiquan, guiding the action with the idea helps to eliminate the stimulation of the mental tension to the human body, and is conducive to vasodilation.

6. Ball games
Badminton, table tennis and so on, as long as it is not a sport with great intensity, can play an auxiliary treatment and prevention effect on prostatitis.

Although exercise can protect men from prostate diseases, men still need to pay attention to the fact that intense exercise can also cause congestion and edema of the prostate, aggravating the symptoms of discomfort. Therefore, the intensity of exercise should be moderate. Exercise intensity depends on your habits and age.

Exercise amount and time
Generally speaking, patients should be treated on the basis of sports, which is relaxed with slow rhythm, low and medium intensity. Exercise about four times a week within 30-60 minutes every time, and heart rate reaches about 110 times per minute is the best.
