Surgery, as one of the most common way of cystitis glandularis, just like a coin has two sides. It also has its advantages and disadvantages. And the high relapse rate is its disadvantage obviously. 
To prevent the relapse of this disease after surgery, here are some things patients need to do.
1.Pay attention to personal hygiene
After surgery, the urinary system is week, which means it can be invaded by infection or other bad materials easily, so pay attention to personal hygiene is necessary. They cannot share their personal stuff like towel or tub. What’s more it is better replace the bath by shower.
2.Build a healthy living habit

3.Eat more diuretic food
Diuretic food like water watermelon, grape, pineapple, celery, pear, corn, or mung bean can help release symptoms like frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination. What’s more, it also is necessary for patient to drink 1500ml water every day.
4.Reexamination is necessary too
Patient should write down the changes like how many times of urination have had during the day. Patients also need to scale the pain, so when they find they are uncomfortable, they can show the doctor the paper, which will help doctor make a better diagnosis.
