Azoospermia is the absence of sperm found in semen examination. As one of the most challenging male diseases to treat infertility, azoospermia has caused great pain to patients and numerous problems for doctors. Azoospermia accounts for about 15%-20% of male infertility patients. In the early stage of suffering from azoospermia, what are the patient's manifestations to judge the disease?
The early symptoms of azoospermia are as follows:
1. There is no sperm in semen routine test for more than three times.
2. Immunological examination can confirm whether immunological infertility
3. A vas deferens can be used to determine whether the fine tract is blocked or not and where it is blocked.
4. Testicular B-ultrasound test can find general testicular lesions, and testicular biopsy can provide a more reliable basis for diagnosis and treatment.
5. After checking the semen centrifugal sedimentation, it can be diagnosed as azoospermia if no sperm are found three times.
6. During a physical examination, the volume of the testicles was less than 10 ml, and the texture was abnormally soft, indicating poor testicular function.
7. Most patients were unable to conceive their wives for many years after marriage without taking contraceptive measures and found that they were suffering from azoospermia when they came to the hospital for an infertility check.
Inspection Method:
There are many causes of azoospermia, which can be summarized into two categories. One is the dysfunction of the testis itself, called primary azoospermia or non-obstructive azoospermia. Second, the spermatogenesis function of the testis is normal. Still, due to the obstruction of the vas deferens, the sperm cannot be discharged from the body, which is called obstructive azoospermia. So what are the inspection methods for azoospermia?
1. Testicular biopsy:
Testicular biopsy can distinguish between OA and NOA, and it can also find some potential lesions in the testicles of men. The methods of testicular biopsy are scrotal biopsy and needle biopsy. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, and patients can choose different ways according to different situations.
2. Genetic examination:
Patients with non-obstructive symptoms or severe oligospermia have micro-deletion in the AZF region of the Y chromosome, so the disease can also be found by checking the gene.
3. Semen examination:
Generally, multiple semen specimens are collected after 2-3 days of abstinence. The main reason for the low semen volume in the clinical examination is incomplete semen collection. Therefore, it is routinely required to collect two specimens. Through the use of empirical analysis, we can determine sperm quality and motility. If azoospermia occurs, targeted conditioning should be carried out to avoid infertility.
4. Endocrine examination:
Inhibin B is produced by testicular supporting cells, which can directly reflect the spermatogenic function of the testis than FSH. Therefore, this examination is for patients to undergo serum FSH and T examinations first.
5. Ultrasound examination:
Use ultrasound to diagnose diseases. If some patients have conditions like testicular network expansion or epididymal cysts, this method can be used for conditioning and treatment. It can be checked and judged by using a testicular biopsy method.
6. Hormone level examination:
Use hormone levels to judge diseases. Most patients may obstruct spermatogenesis or neurological disorders and may also cause neurological inhibition in patients.
7. Inspection of the vas deferens:
The vas deferens is blocked. Obstruction of the vas deferens is the number one cause of azoospermia. Obstructive azoospermia can be caused by the underdevelopment of the congenital epididymis or other parts of the vas deferens (including the vas deferens).
If patients suffer from azoospermia, go to a regular hospital for a precise diagnosis and examination. After finding out the specific cause, conduct scientific treatment. In treatment, Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill can be used to treat azoospermia. It has the main effects of clearing away heat and detoxification, activating blood circulation, promoting vital energy and relieving pain, promoting diuresis, and relieving stranguria.
