Seminal Vesiculitis is one of the most common infectious diseases in men. The age of onset is mostly between 20 and 40 years old. Hemospermia is the main clinical manifestation, but there are acute and chronic differences among individuals.

The clinical manifestations are different.

(1) Hemospermia: It is characterized by the ejaculation of hemospermia, the semen is pink or red or with blood clots. Acute hemospermia is more obvious.

(2) Frequency, urgency and pain of urination: Acute patients have obvious symptoms of urgency of urination and pain of urination, and dysuria can be seen. Chronic patients with frequent urination, urgent urination, and urination discomfort, burning sensation is obvious.

(3) Pain: In acute cases, pain in the lower abdomen can be seen, involving the perineum and both sides of the groin. Chronic patients may experience dull pain in the suprapubic region, accompanied by perineal discomfort. Pain symptoms are markedly exacerbated during ejaculation.

(4) Other symptoms: Fever, aversion to cold and shivering, which are the systemic symptoms of acute seminal vesiculitis. Hematuria is also one of the manifestations of acute seminal vesiculitis. And ejaculation pain, low libido, spermatorrhea, and premature ejaculation are common in chronic patients.

When seminal vesiculitis occurs, it is often treated with antibiotics. If it is not cured in the acute stage, it is easy to delay and become chronic seminal vesiculitis. When combined with prostatitis, it will increase the difficulty of treatment, and when there is a delay in the treatment or wrong treatment method, it is easy to appear severe hemospermia, weak sperm, sperm liquefaction, greatly reduce the fertility of men and even cause infertility.

At present, most hospitals advocate the treatment of pathogens detected, such as mould, trichomonas, Chlamydia and Mycoplasma infection, or gonorrhea. Drug susceptibility tests should be conducted to select sensitive antibiotics for treatment. However, these routine treatments are often effective in the initial stage, but no longer workful in later stage.

For patients with drug-resistant seminal vesiculitis, conservative herbal medicine Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill is a choice.

The antipyretic, detoxicating, bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effects of its formula can effectively remove inflammation on seminal vesicle glands and genitourinary tract,  relieve pain and swelling, alleviate the symptoms of genital tract discomfort. In addition, the natural remedy has anti-proliferation, anti-fibrosis effect,  can effectively inhibit the proliferation of residual lesions.
